Family Overview

A warm, international family based in Hong Kong, with Finnish and British/Hong Kong backgrounds, is seeking a professional and experienced nanny to care for their seven-month-old son.

This is their first child, and they are fully engaged in his care and development. The family maintains strong ties to Europe and will spend the summer travelling between Italy, Finland, and the UK.

Role Overview

This is a sole-charge, travel-based position requiring a calm, attentive, and experienced nanny with a strong background in infant care.

The role begins with an introductory period in Hong Kong, allowing time to establish a relationship with the child before travelling together. The position then continues across several European locations over the summer.

A consistent and thoughtful approach is essential, with a clear focus on maintaining routine and stability for the child within a changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full care of a seven-month-old baby

• Establishing and maintaining feeding and sleep routines

• Supporting early development in a structured and attentive manner

• All nursery duties related to the child

• Travelling with the family and adapting to different residences

• Ensuring continuity and consistency of care across locations

Candidate Requirements

• Significant experience caring for babies and young infants (essential)

• Confident in sole-charge roles

• Calm, reliable, and attentive in approach

• Comfortable with frequent travel and changing environments

• English-speaking; additional languages are welcome

• Non-smoker

Additional Information

The family strongly prefers a candidate who is available to travel to Hong Kong from mid to late April 2026 for an introductory period. This stage is important to allow the baby to become comfortable and to establish a strong working relationship ahead of the summer travels.

Accommodation, flights, and salary will be provided during this period.
