Bilingual Rota Nanny (English + Spanish) Casablanca, Morocco
Position: Rota Nanny
Location: Casablanca, Morocco
Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, live-in
Term: Long-term
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 72,000 EUR per year
Role Overview
A young, warm, and professional family in Casablanca, and a returning International Nanny client, is seeking a caring, steady rota nanny to care for their two young children.
This is a rota role, working two weeks on and two weeks off, alongside a co-rota in a fully-staffed household. The family is based in Casablanca and travels regularly, so the nanny should be experienced in travel and able to join them when needed.
The children are attending preschool. During your working weeks, you will look after their daily routine from morning to bedtime:
- gentle, organised mornings,
- school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups,
- simple, relaxed afternoons with play, activities and outings,
- calm evenings and bedtime.
The parents are looking for someone who is genuinely loving, kind and patient – a nanny who enjoys spending time with young children, listens to them, and helps them feel safe and understood.
Languages
The family would like a nanny who speaks fluent English plus Spanish (MT).
They would really appreciate someone who can naturally bring their second language into the children’s day – through songs, stories, and conversation – so that the children grow up feeling comfortable in more than one language.
Main Responsibilities
During your working weeks, you will be responsible for all aspects of the children’s care, for example:
-
Looking after their daily routine (mornings, after school/nursery, bath and bedtime)
-
Planning simple, age-appropriate activities (arts and crafts, games, baking, park, etc.)
-
Encouraging good manners, sharing and gentle independence
-
Reading stories and supporting early reading, counting and curiosity
-
Arranging and supervising playdates and local outings
-
Preparing and organising the children’s clothes, bags and belongings
-
Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy, organised and welcoming
-
Packing and organising for travel with the children when the family is away
You will also liaise with parents, school and nursery when needed, and keep clear notes about the children’s routines, progress, and any small issues that arise during your rota.
The Person They Are Looking For
-
Have solid experience working as a nanny with toddlers and young school-aged children
-
Hold a recognised childcare qualification
-
Are warm, affectionate and calm, with a steady presence
-
Are organised and able to run the children’s side of life smoothly
-
Are discreet and respectful in a private family home
-
Are happy to work in a rota and as part of a small team
-
Are comfortable travelling with the family when needed
-
Can swim confidently (the children may spend time in or near water)
First Aid up to date, or willingness to renew it, is necessary for the role.
