Role Summary
We are supporting a lovely, well-known family we know and admire. We are seeking a warm, discreet, and highly organised live-in nanny to join them permanently in a shared-care role alongside a very hands-on mother based in Monaco.
Care is for one young child (a bright, empathetic, and active two and a half year old girl). You will provide a calm and reassuring presence, offer thoughtful routines and age-appropriate activities, and work in close partnership with the parents. The role combines shared care and short periods of sole charge, with a strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and consistency for the little girl.
This position is designed as a long-term commitment.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide attentive, thoughtful daily care, ensuring the child’s safety, well-being, and emotional security.
-
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities (creative projects, early learning, outdoor play, museum visits, nature walks) to support holistic development.
-
Maintain consistent routines: meals, naps, playtimes, bedtime, and simple learning moments.
-
Organise the child’s wardrobe, toys, books, and equipment, keeping everything clean and orderly.
-
Support gentle, respectful discipline and clear boundaries aligned with the parents’ approach.
-
Assist with nursery/school runs, classes, appointments, and social activities as the child grows.
-
Offer confident sole charge when needed, including during some travel periods.
-
Travel with the family during holidays and trips, ensuring seamless care and continuity in new environments.
-
Communicate clearly and discreetly with parents and the resident nanny, sharing observations and plans.
-
Maintain the highest levels of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy at all times.
Candidate Profile
Essential
-
Significant experience as a nanny in private households, ideally with long-term posts.

-
Calm, kind, and emotionally attuned; able to read and respond to a young child’s cues.
-
Organised and proactive, with excellent attention to detail in the child’s environment and routine.
-
Flexible, reliable approach; comfortable adapting to travel, changing schedules, and busy periods.
-
Confident with both shared care and short periods of sole charge.
-
Holds an EU passport and is travel-ready, with the ability to travel internationally.
-
First Aid and CPR certification.
Desirable
-
Knowledge of child development and play-based learning approaches.
-
Confident swimmer, comfortable around pools and the sea.
-
Able to prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the child.
