About the Role

A wonderful and forward-thinking family based in South Tyrol is seeking a gentle, playful, and engaged nanny-governess or manny-governor to join their family life and support the care and learning of their three children (ages 3, 6, and 9).

The family leads an alternative, nature-based, and health-conscious lifestyle, follows a hybrid homeschooling/unschooling approach, and is deeply involved in their children’s lives. Both parents work from home and value connection, playfulness, and emotional awareness in parenting. They are looking for a long-term teammate—someone who is warm, open-minded, and committed to growing with the family.

This position would suit a creative, nature-loving caregiver who thrives in a rural, dynamic environment and is attuned to the children’s emotional and developmental needs. The family is looking for someone who can be an extension of their parenting, with a deep respect for the children's voices, rhythms, and unique ways of learning.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead daily educational sessions in core skills in line with children’s curiosity and developmental stage

• Create engaging child-led activities, projects, arts and crafts, and nature-based learning

• Support children with their interests, questions, and curiosity about the world

• Provide plenty of outdoor time and nature exploration

• Assist with packing, logistics, and managing daily routines

• Prepare healthy snacks (grain- and sugar-free)

• Transport children to activities (driver’s licence required)

• Support swimming and pool safety (swimming skills preferred)

• Keep children’s areas tidy and organised
