Information for Job Applicants

We partner exclusively with career professionals who understand that safeguarding is fundamental to this vocation. To be considered for placement, every candidate must meet our safeguarding requirements.

Police and Background Checks

All candidates must provide a valid criminal background or police clearance from their country of residence (for example, a DBS check in the UK or an international equivalent). In certain cases, families may request an additional check from the candidate’s country of origin or previous countries of employment.

Full Disclosure

Candidates are required to disclose all past convictions or cautions, in line with safeguarding legislation. Failure to do so will disqualify you from placement.

Enhanced Checks for Regulated Roles

For positions that involve regulated childcare activity, an enhanced background check (such as the UK Enhanced DBS for Regulated Activity) may be required. These checks confirm that you are not barred from working with children or vulnerable groups.

Barred Individuals

Any individual barred from working with children or vulnerable groups is legally prohibited from applying for these roles. Doing so would constitute an offence.

Our Duty to Refer

As an agency, we uphold the highest safeguarding standards. If a professional is dismissed or removed from a regulated childcare role due to proven harm or risk of harm to a child, we have a duty to refer this case to the relevant authority (such as the DBS in the UK or its international equivalent). This process is essential to protect children and to maintain integrity across the profession.
