A family based in London is seeking an experienced, calm, and highly capable rota nanny for a permanent position with three children, aged between 11 and 8 years old, with two of them attending boarding school. The role supports the children across two households following parental separation. The successful candidate will be confident in maintaining consistency and stability for the children while adapting respectfully to two different home styles and routines.

This position includes a significant child-focused PA element and will suit a nanny who is exceptionally organised and genuinely enjoys managing the children’s logistics. This includes coordinating diaries, school and boarding arrangements, uniforms and kit, appointments and activities, travel planning and packing systems, liaising with schools and tutors, and maintaining clear, reliable systems so that both households run smoothly.

An English-speaking nanny and a confident UK driver are essential.

Responsibilities

• This is a high-calibre rota appointment with a strong child-focused PA remit. The successful candidate will combine warmth with calm authority, ensuring excellent standards and seamless organisation across two households.
• Provide confident, age-appropriate care and maintain consistent routines, boundaries and expectations.
• Support the children’s education: oversee homework, reading, and school projects, and liaise with tutors and schools as required.
• Promote polished manners, respectful communication and good behaviour in an elegant, steady manner.
• Take ownership of the children’s logistics and administration (a major element of the role): diaries, school and boarding arrangements, uniforms and kit, appointments, activities, travel planning, and packing systems.
• Ensure smooth transitions between households, with reliable systems for belongings and handovers.
• Drive confidently in the UK for school runs, boarding transfers, appointments, and activities.
• Communicate clearly and neutrally with both parents, maintaining discretion and strong professional boundaries at all times.

Candidate Profile

This role requires a nanny who is emotionally steady, adaptable and confident in changing family dynamics. You will be a strong communicator who remains calm, organised and solutions-focused, ensuring the children experience consistency across both households.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a rota nanny (or senior nanny) in private households, with excellent references.
• Confident UK driver with a clean licence and recent driving experience in the UK.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage two-household logistics with care and consistency.
• Excellent communication style: clear, tactful, professional and child-focused.
• British nationality or UK Settled Status/right to work in the UK (desirable).
