Family Overview:

A warm, professional family based in the heart of Barcelona is seeking an experienced and committed live-in nanny to support the care of their three children: twin girls (aged 3.5) and one older boy (aged 5).

Both parents work full-time and are actively involved in their children’s lives. The family is looking for a nanny who can provide calm, consistent support and become a trusted presence within the household. This is a long-term role for someone who values stability and meaningful family relationships.

Role Overview:

This role is focused on supporting the parents and family routine, rather than sole-charge childcare. All children attend school full-time.

A key element of the position is night-time support. While the children generally sleep well, there are occasions when one of the twins wakes during the night, and the nanny will be responsible for managing the night routine with confidence, patience, and reassurance.

During school hours, the role allows for rest time. Support is primarily required in the mornings and again in the afternoons and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

Night-Time Support
    •    Responding to occasional night wakings, primarily with one of the twins
    •    Comforting, settling, and managing established night routines
    •    Providing a calm, reassuring presence overnight

Morning Support
    •    Assisting with breakfast and morning routines
    •    Supporting the parents during school preparation
    •    Assistance with the school run (normally done with the parents)

Daytime
    •    Rest time while all children are at school

Afternoon & Evening Support
    •    Supporting children after school
    •    Assisting with homework and structured routines where appropriate
    •    Helping with evening activities, dinner support, bath time, and bedtime wind-down

Additional Duties
    •    Working collaboratively alongside both parents
    •    Supporting consistency in routines, boundaries, and expectations
    •    Occasional, planned travel with the family

Language Requirements
    •    Greek fluency is highly preferred
    •    If not Greek-speaking: fluency in English and Spanish is required
