Permanent, Full-Time Maternity Nanny, Native Spanish or French Speaker in Riyadh
Location: Riyadh
Salary: £1,200–£1,600 per week, depending on experience
Start Date: Flexible

We are seeking a warm, thoughtful, and experienced Maternity Nanny to support the care and early development of a 1.5-year-old girl. This is a daytime position working in partnership with a long-standing maternity nurse who provides night care.

The family values a nurturing approach, with gentle routines, purposeful play, and early exposure to language—particularly French or Spanish—naturally woven into the child’s day. The ideal candidate will support language acquisition through play and communication, helping the child become confident and expressive from an early age. This is not a teaching role, but a hands-on position where language is introduced through warmth, interaction, and everyday moments. The nanny will contribute to this stage of development with patience, creativity, and professionalism.

The Role:

•    Provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for a 1.5-year-old.
    •    Follow and adapt the daily routine (naps, meals, playtime) to the child’s needs.
    •    Plan and participate in enriching activities (sensory play, outdoor time, reading, music, motor skills play).
    •    Support early milestones: language development, social skills, and independence.
    •    Encourage age-appropriate discipline, using gentle redirection and consistency.
    •    Begin early exposure to manners, simple routines, and good habits (e.g., tidying toys, saying “please”).
    •    Prepare and serve healthy meals/snacks.
    •    Handle diapering, hygiene, and support early potty training readiness when age-appropriate.
    •    Maintain cleanliness of child’s play areas, clothes, and feeding tools.
    •    Provide open, ongoing communication with parents about development, mood, and daily highlights.

Main Requirements

  • Native in French and/or Spanish, with good English skills

  • Strong swimmer, confident in water-based activities

  • Specialised experience with infants and toddlers

  • Able to plan and deliver enriching, age-appropriate play

  • Comfortable working alongside other staff in a respectful, team-oriented setting

  • Culturally aware, reliable, and professional in all aspects of care

Accommodation is provided within the staff quarters, including a private entrance and personal facilities.

This role would suit someone kind, grounded, and thoughtful—able to support a child’s earliest experiences with care, consistency, and a calm presence. It is ideal for someone who finds joy in the rhythm of a well-run home and the meaningful work of early childhood care.
