

FULL-TIME, BILINGUAL (SPANISH & ENGLISH) NANNY – BARCELONA & IBIZA

Family Overview
An international and dynamic family based between Barcelona and Ibiza is seeking a bilingual Spanish and English-speaking nanny to care for their children, aged 3 and 10 months, and support their family lifestyle. The household is fully staffed with existing nannies, housekeepers, and support staff. The family travels regularly and is looking for a discreet, professional, and energetic nanny who can integrate well with both the team and the children, supporting them with consistency, warmth, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Role and Responsibilities

Provide attentive, high-quality care to the children, supporting their emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Engage the children in age-appropriate, creative, and educational activities

Maintain routines and structure during the school period in Barcelona

Travel with the family (notably to Ibiza and occasionally other international destinations), offering availability during travel periods

Collaborate with other staff members respectfully and professionally

Communicate regularly with parents and adapt to their preferences and parenting style

Model and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle

Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment at all times
Candidate Requirements

Fluent in Spanish and English (near-native level in both; formal qualifications not essential but high fluency is required)

Minimum 5 years of experience as a professional nanny, ideally in fully staffed and international households

Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Physically fit, energetic, and confident in managing multiple children or dynamic family environments

Warm yet highly professional, with strong emotional intelligence and sound judgement

Comfortable with flexible schedules and longer shifts during travel periods

Experience with travel nannying or rotating schedules is highly valued

EU passport or the right to work in Spain required

Driving licence is desirable
