Full-time, Live-in, Permanent, English-speaking nanny (with teaching experience)  in the Bahamas, plus travelling

A returning client and a truly lovely family based in the Bahamas is seeking a highly experienced and energetic live-in nanny to care for their two children (aged 0 to 5). The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education, a calm and nurturing disposition, and the ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities that support the child’s development. A confident communicator and team player with prior experience working in private households is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

• Engage in active, developmentally appropriate play and structured learning activities

• Plan and implement early childhood education activities based on the child’s evolving needs and interests

• Accompany and supervise the child on walks, playground visits, and other outings

• Handle meal preparation, feeding, hygiene, and general daily care

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised child-centred environment

• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding the child’s progress and needs

• Assist with occasional family travel or extended hours as pre-agreed

Candidate Requirements:

• Formal classroom experience as a preschool or kindergarten teacher (private or public school setting)

• Prior nanny or private family experience

• Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification

• Fluent English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and Spanish is a plus 

• Physically capable of keeping up with a highly energetic child
