Details of the assignment:

                  A lovely American family of 5 is urgently seeking an English and Spanish-speaking governess or governor for their 3 kids aged B12, G8, and B6. The governess or governor's primary role is to create and provide an environment where the kids can thrive and improve academically. The family has not decided on the schedule yet, and it will be discussed during the interview. The nanny will be provided with separate accommodation and will work part-time hours during the week. Therefore, the ideal candidate can combine this placement with another job, studies or hobby. 

                Mum and Dad spend most of their time at home; Dad runs his own business and manages it from home, while Mum is a stay-at-home mum. Both parents are very easy-going and very hands-on with the kids. Hence, the governess or governor must be comfortable working alongside the parents and understand when to step in to give assistance and when to step out to allow the family to bond. The family is active and loves spending time around the water, sailing, boating, and doing water sports. They are ideally looking for someone who leads the same active lifestyle. It is essential that the governess or governor is a confident swimmer and has experience swimming with kids.

               The family resides in Bocas del Torro, Panama where the lifestyle is quiet and slow-paced, and therefore, they are seeking someone who is accustomed to this way of living. The family also travels quite often, so they would need someone who is travel-ready and happy to accompany them during their trips. 

                The governess or governor will be in charge of the kids' academics, such as helping with their homework, creating educational activities for them, making sure the kids are following and in line with the curriculum, as well as instilling good behaviour and manners. As such, it is mandatory for the governess or governor to have a solid teaching background and a strong educational history. Currently, the kids go to school. However, the family has plans to homeschool the kids in the near future. Therefore, they would need someone qualified, experienced, and open to helping them homeschool the kids.

                The ideal candidate for this role is someone passionate not only about childcare but also in providing kids with value education. The governess or governor must be fit and active to keep up with the children's activities and the family's lifestyle but also maintain a good balance of being able to enjoy a slower and quieter lifestyle at home. The ideal candidate is someone capable of being a good role model to the kids and providing them with a safe environment and maintaining healthy boundaries. The governor or governess may be requested to work on some weekends or other times when Mum and Dad won't be able to look after the kids, so they will need someone who is flexible and able to meet their needs when necessary. This role is perfect for someone experienced and looking for a new challenge and would like to stay with a family long-term.
