Details of the assignment

               A wonderful family of 4 is in search of a caring, nurturing, and reliable Portuguese-speaking nanny to help them care for their 2 kids aged B6m and B3. The nanny will be working 5 days a week including a half-day on Saturday. The details about the remaining days of the week are still under discussion and will be finalised during the meeting with the family. The nanny must have previous experience working as a nanny and have worked for families with young children as it is the nanny's responsibility to provide exceptional care and well-being to the kids. In addition to childcare-related responsibilities, the family would appreciate someone who can help them with light household chores and help maintain a tidy and organised home. The nanny will be provided with their own private bedroom as accommodation. 

               Both parents are working professionals and can sometimes be busy. However, the mum works from home so she is flexible. This being the case, the nanny should be comfortable working alongside a parent and know when to step in to offer assistance. The family attends church every Sunday, and therefore would value a nanny who shares the same or similar religious beliefs or someone who can respect their ways. The family believes that similarity in values will contribute to a harmonious environment for both the children and the nanny. 

             The family values learning new languages and embracing different cultures, so someone who can bring and offer these aspects on the table would be highly valued. The parents follow a traditional parenting style with gentle guidance and frequent communication with their children so the family would like a nanny who shares the same values. It is also essential to be travel ready as the family would like the nanny to accompany them on their trips.
