SUMMER OR PERMANENT LIVE-OUT ENGLISH AND/OR FRENCH SPEAKING NANNY OR MANNY IN FLORENCE, ITALY

Position: Live-out Nanny or Manny

Location: Florence, Italy

Term: Temporary role in the summer with the option to choose a permanent, live-out position

Details of the assignment:

                A busy and active family of 5 is seeking a responsible and trustworthy nanny or manny to look after their G10, G8, and B6 and assume all the nanny duties including but not limited to getting them ready for the day, preparing and cooking the kids' meals, planning both indoor and outdoor activities, and other recreation needed for the kid's enrichment, giving them a bath and putting them to bed. The nanny or manny will be working 40 hours a week from Wednesday to Sunday and will be provided with a separate flat for accommodation. The family is looking for a qualified and experienced nanny who can communicate fluently in English and/or French. Please note that this role will start as a summer temporary role, but have a possibility of becoming a full-time live-out position with the right candidate. 

               Mum and Dad run and manage their own restaurant, so their work schedule can be at times very demanding and hectic. Thus, they are looking for a reliable nanny/manny to look after the kids when they are not around. The nanny/manny will be solely in charge of meeting the daily needs of the kids, creating age-appropriate and engaging activities, and advocating for their education. Although not mandatory, the family would value someone with experience or qualifications in teaching a language to be able to support and maintain the kids' English language acquisition. The ideal nanny is also a confident swimmer and driver to be able to drive the kids to their extracurricular activities, play dates, and other appointments. The family in general is very easy-going and loves spending time outdoors and in nature. The kids enjoy doing activities such as arts and crafts and therefore the family is looking for a nanny/manny who is highly energetic, creative, and can make learning fun. 

               The kids are taught to be independent, but Mum and Dad would value a nanny/manny who can implement and guide the kids to follow an everyday routine and create good and healthy boundaries for the kids. This role is perfect for a professional and career nanny who is experienced in a similar family dynamic and wants to work over the summer with the possibility to commit to a long-term work opportunity.
