FULL-TIME, LIVE-IN ENGLISH-SPEAKING NANNY IN ANDORRA

Details of the assignment:

                  An active and outgoing family of 6 based in Andorra is seeking an experienced nanny to look after their four kids B1, B5, B6, and B8 to be responsible for all nanny duties and other childcare-related tasks as well as providing education to the kids. The nanny must be able to communicate with a high level of English (minimum B2). The nanny will be working 5.5 days a week from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM with breaks during the days and two days off per week on Tuesday and Wednesday (this will be further discussed with the family). The ideal nanny for this role is someone experienced working for big families and similar family settings. This will be a full-time live-in nanny position and the family will provide a private room in the house for the nanny as accommodation. 

     The main focus of the nanny is to look after the youngest who is a year old when the older kids go to school during the day. Mum and Dad are working professionals who mostly work from home and love spending time with the kids. Therefore, it is important that the nanny is used to working alongside the parents and can recognise when to step in to offer assistance and when to step out to give time and space for the family to bond. The family also has a housekeeper who is available to assist the nanny if needed. The family is very active, enjoys spending time outdoors, and often ventures out to natural spaces for hiking, walking, picnics, and other activities during the weekend. The three older boys are athletes who do skiing in the winter and downhill biking in the summer. The family members are also very open-minded and have a positive outlook on life and aim to create a pleasant atmosphere at home where everyone can enjoy time together. The family would therefore appreciate a nanny who shares the same values as well as a nanny who leads an active lifestyle, enjoys the outdoors, and can keep up with the kids. The ideal candidate has a teaching background as the family would like the nanny to assist the kids in doing their homework during the week and have someone who can create and plan enrichment activities on the weekends involving mathematics, reading, and other educational pursuits to help improve the kids’ educational needs. It would be a plus if the nanny possesses any childcare-related qualifications, play any musical instruments, and generally can offer other skills on the table. 

                The ideal nanny is kind, caring, social, can work under minimal supervision and takes the initiative when needed. The nanny must have a driving licence for this job. This role is perfect for an experienced and professional nanny looking for a long-term work commitment.
