         A warm, friendly, and active local family in Athens, Greece who will be welcoming their first baby in February is looking for a caring and nurturing nanny or manny to join their family. They are ideally looking for someone who is a Native German or a Native English speaker. Note that this position is not a maternity nanny role, as the job will be an ongoing, permanent role and the candidate will be working full-time from Monday through Friday to take on all the nanny duties and childcare-related tasks.

         The parents are both working professionals; Mum works mostly from home, so the nanny should be comfortable working alongside mum, and Dad, on the other hand, travels quite often for work. When not working, the family enjoys skiing and sailing, so the candidate needs to be a confident swimmer. The family would also like for the nanny to be able to cook as it will be the nanny’s responsibility to prepare the baby’s meals and snacks once it starts eating solid food. Although not mandatory, the family would value someone who can drive. If the nanny does not currently reside in Greece, the family will provide separate accommodation.

         The ideal candidate for this role is dedicated to providing day-to-day support to a busy family, reliable, and self-assured in being on top of everything childcare related. The family would like the nanny to be kind and nurturing and, ideally, someone knowledgeable in the Montessori method or other alternative methodologies. The nanny should also be able to establish and implement routines that are essential and beneficial to the baby’s development. A childcare qualification and First Aid Certification would be considered a plus. This role is perfect for a career nanny who is looking for a long-term position.
