Details of the Assignment: 

A welcoming family, and repeat client based in Casablanca, are looking for an experienced and educated  Maternity Nurse to join their household and provide 24/7 support for them and their newborn, due end of May 2023. This lovely family have a 14-month-old girl, though the maternity nurse will not be caring for her as her care is already arranged. with two rota nannies.

The maternity nurse will be on-call 24/7 for the maternity nursing period of 2 or 3 months. This role will require the maternity nurse to work supportively in tandem with the mum, who is planning to breastfeed, and to help establish a good, developmentally appropriate routine for the baby. Most importantly, the family want someone with a proven track record in gentle sleep training.

The family are seeking an English or French-speaking Maternity nurse with a great deal of experience, and enthusiasm for the role. The ideal candidate would be someone dynamic, who has lots of energy and is happy to work with the older girl around. They need a team player with good, open communication and a desire to support parents as well as babies, and would prefer someone who has worked in fully staffed and formal households.

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

• Experience working as a maternity nurse
• Able to provide 24/7 support
• 2-3 contactable references 
• English or French speaker
• Highly competent  in gentle sleep coaching
