Live in, a long-term, English-Spanish  speaking nanny-PA in Valencia, Spain 

SALARY: 2,000 euros pcm 

START DATE: Sep 2022

A busy dad who relocated from the UK to Spain ( Valencia)   is looking for an English nanny to join their home and help him with his B4 and G9. The position is live-in and it involves some proxy parenting.  The nanny will need availability to work on a full-time basis and offer flexibility during the holiday. As the parents have shared custody, you will have weeks without the children. Hence, the role needs to include some PA tasks. 

The ideal candidate is an English (NT) speaker,  a nanny-PA with a driving license, and able to communicate in Spanish. It is important that the nanny is able to help the children learn English, whilst also collaborating with the dad to set up developmental milestones. It is important that you have previous experience in a similar role and are both a confident swimmer and a driver. You may also travel with the family during the holiday period. 

As a nanny, you will also be responsible for other tasks related to the well-being of the children. These tasks may include; dressing, bathing, washing, meal prep, playing, and interacting with the child, alongside keeping the child’s play areas and bedroom neat and organized. You will need to be able to adapt to the day-to-day needs of the child and her parents. It is also important that you are kind, caring, and understanding. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

• Relevant childcare qualifications  and experience working in a similar position for at least 3 years 

• 2-3 contactable references

• First Aid 

• English speaker and able to communicate fluently in Spanish

• Driver

• Swimmer 

• EU or NIE
