Position Summary

A warm, health-conscious international family is seeking an experienced full-time live-in nanny to join them on a long-term basis.

The role involves caring for three young children: a five-year-old, a two-year-old, and a newborn expected in November. Working alongside the family's existing nanny, you will help provide consistent, attentive care while supporting the family's day-to-day routines as they prepare to welcome their newest addition.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive and developmentally appropriate care for three young children, including supporting the family's newborn following their arrival in November.

• Work collaboratively alongside the family's existing nanny to ensure continuity of care and a consistent approach to the children's routines.

• Plan engaging, stimulating and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.

• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines.

• Encourage the children's independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

• Implement clear and respectful boundaries with kindness, patience and consistency.

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.

• Occasionally prepare one or two simple, healthy meals for the family when required.

• Maintain the children's bedrooms, wardrobes, nursery and play areas to a high standard.

• Organise the children's belongings and prepare for travel between residences.

• Accompany the family on international travel when required.

• Maintain open, professional and proactive communication with the parents.

• Help ensure each day runs smoothly by anticipating the family's needs and working collaboratively with the parents and the existing nanny.

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive experience working as a professional full-time nanny within private households.

• Proven newborn experience.

• A childcare qualification or relevant education in childcare.

• Fluent English.

• A valid Paediatric First Aid and CPR certificate.

• Outstanding recent references from previous employers.

• Experience caring for children of different ages simultaneously.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• A calm, adaptable and flexible approach.

• A proactive attitude with the confidence to use initiative.

• Confidence living in rural or semi-remote environments.

• A genuine love of nature and outdoor living.

• Strong swimming ability.

• Be comfortable around dogs and have no pet allergies.

• A full driving licence would be highly desirable.
