Full-time, live-in, Permanent, English-speaking nanny in the Bahamas 

Position: Maternity Nanny/ Nanny

Location: Bahamas (plus travelling) - relocate 7 months in the Bahamas and travel all year long

Work: Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday 10am -6pm

Details of the assignment:

Lovely and busy, first-time parents are looking for a maternity nanny/ nanny to help them with their new baby, born last November 2022. The family is looking for a confident nanny with previous experience working with infants between the ages of 3 months - 18 months old. Separate Living accommodations in a beautiful apartment with access to a pool and gym (nearby to the family home) will be provided.  This will predominantly be the Nanny's own residence though some rooms may be used periodically by visiting family.

Important to know:

- Both parents take on active roles and are very involved with the baby, and the mother is a stay-at-home mum, so the nanny will not be fully occupied with the baby during the day; As such, you will be asked to periodically run errands and support the mom  as necessary;

-The family lives in 2 primary locations:  Bahamas and Italy (near Milan), and also travels periodically to Canada and the United States.

- Previous experience in caring for infants is mandatory. The nanny will be required to follow the mother’s guidelines with regard to caring for the baby, maintaining the baby's environment, clothing, etc.

-The family values HEALTH in body and mind. Healthy food, a quiet environment, and yoga are a regular part of this family’s environment and the family would greatly appreciate a nanny who leads a similar lifestyle. 

Please note this is a staffed formal, yet warm and very considerate household that values someone who is highly professional, respects the family’s boundaries, and knows when to step in and also step out to give space.  

The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license and also be willing to travel internationally with the family whenever required. . The family are very keen that this is a long-term position, for a minimum of 2 years, and hopes the nanny will remain for years later. 

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

• Willing and able to travel and stay in the Bahamas, Italy, USA and Canada. 

• Previous experience with infants

• Fluent in English 

• Confident driver
