Holiday Nanny in Barcelona

Details of the Assignment: 

A friendly family from the USA is seeking a fun, energetic and caring nanny to help with looking after G2. The family is looking for an English and Spanish-speaking nanny to look after their little girl whilst they work in the afternoons, and to accompany them on holiday trips to Madrid and Balearic Islands.

The nanny will typically be working 1-8pm Monday to Friday to fit in with the parents’ work patterns but will also need to be available to travel with the family. The position will be live-out whilst in Barcelona, but the family will provide the nanny with accommodation when they travel. The nanny will be responsible for planning age-appropriate activities and outings for the little girl.

The ideal nanny is someone with plenty of life, fun and energy, who enjoys the outdoors and knows Barcelona well. They need someone who speaks good English to communicate with the family and they would like someone who also speaks Spanish well, in order to help G2 with Spanish language acquisition.

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

• Relevant experience working with children
• 2-3 contactable references  
• English-speaking (and ideally Spanish speaking)
• Happy to travel with the family
