Details of the assignment:

A busy household with three young boys (B3, B1.5 and B 3 months) currently  living in Barcelona is looking for a live out nanny to join their lovely home and help them with Punjabi language acquisition. The position is live out and the nanny will need availability to work full-time 5 days a week (Monday to Friday 40 hours per week). This vacancy requires someone who can stimulate and play with the children, but the element of language acquisition is also important. Ideally, you would speak Punjabi, but Hindi would suffice.  

The ideal candidate is an experienced career nanny who has an interest in alternative approaches to education and holistic nannying. It is important that the nanny is able to help the children follow a routine and collaborate with the parents to set up developmental milestones. The ideal candidate has initiative and can work independently but is also happy working with mum. 

As a nanny, you will also be responsible for other tasks related to the wellbeing of the child. These tasks may include; dressing, bathing, washing, meal prep, playing and interacting with the child, alongside keeping the child’s play areas and bedroom neat and organised. You will need to be able to adapt to the day-to-day needs of the child and her parents, who both work from home. It is also important that you are kind, caring and understanding. Please note, the family enjoy travelling and the nanny will be expected to travel with them.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

• Relevant childcare qualifications ( preferably from an alternative approach ) 
• At least 3 years working in a similar position ( full time)
• 2-3 contactable references
• First Aid 
• Ideally Punjabi proficient
