Details of the assignment: 

A lovely and busy family from Rome, Italy, is looking for a nanny to help their little son 2.5 y old learn English through age-appropriate activities, fun games and play. The position is live-out and can be either part-time or full-time and long term. You will be required to work 5 days a week and hours are either after school or full time. Both parents work long hours and the role is sole charge. Please note that, although you are on sole charge, the house is staffed.

Your focus is to collect the little boy at nursey, plan and organise age-appropriate activities and play to help English language acquisition. Besides language acquisition, you will be in charge of developmental milestones and the little boy’s wellbeing. You will install healthy habits and consolidate a routine. The little one will be attending nursey and the family wants him to become proficient in English, hence, the parents want a native speaker to consolidate the basis. The ideal nanny is also active, energetic and first aid qualified.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar role and is committed to a long-term placement. The nanny is sweet, thoughtful, attentive and caring. It is also important the nanny is flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to travel. The family loves traveling and would like the nanny to join them to their regular trips. Besides being a career nanny with a warm and nurturing approach, having a teaching qualification is a plus. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

• Travel ready
• Previous experience as a nanny (Minimum of 3 years)
• 2-3 Contactable references
• Native English speaker

 OTHER INFORMATION:

• This is a long term contract
• Monday to Friday from 16:00-20:00 or 40 hours per week
